HAVANA, IL - H. Marie Shores, 76, of Timothy Terrace, Apt. A12, died at 5 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, 1994, at Mason District Hospital in Havana.
Born Sept. 4, 1917, in Kilbourne to Samuel and Letha Dale Atwood, she married Lester Shores on March 31, 1935. He died Nov. 26, 1980.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers.
Surviving are two daughters, Conda Hall of Easton and Linda Shay of Keokuk, Iowa; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She worked at Lincoln State School, which is now Lincoln Developmental Center, from 1965 until 1975. She was a member of Havana Church of Christ.
Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana.
