He married Dicia "Dicie" Ann Sanders April 9, 1893, in Webbs Creek, Reynolds County, MO. Dicie was born October 15, 1870, in Webbs Creek, MO., and died June 6, 1946, in Carter County, Missouri. I was 17 when my grandmother passed. I remember her as soft spoken, and always singing, she had a great voice. She loved to play jokes on family and friends, and if she wasn't cooking, baking, canning, or singing she was laughing. A woman of deep faith, she always prayed, and read her Bible.
