William Paul "Bill" Clark Jr.; 69 of Ooltewah, TN passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at his home. Mr. Clark was born in Knoxville, TN and reared in Norris and Jefferson City, TN.

He was a graduate of Carson-Newman College and UT with degrees in Mathematics and Engineering. Bill was an active member of Concord Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher for many years. He retired as Branch Manager of Power Control Telecommunications at TVA. Bill worked for TVA for 31 years and was a electrical engineer and member of IEEE. He lived in Chattanooga and Ooltewah for 46 years.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William Paul Clark, Sr. and Gladys Middleswart Clark of Jefferson City, TN.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Doris James Clark; sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Steve and Jennifer Clark, Athens, TN, Douglas and Jeanne Clark, Frederick, CO; grandchildren, Paul, Claire and Wes Clark, all of Athens, TN, Jesse and Ciara Clark, Frederick, CO; sister, Gay Clark Warren, Knoxville, TN, nephew and wife, Robert Scott and Carolyn Warren, Strawberry Plains,, TN; grand nephew, Bobby Warren, Strawberry Plains, TN and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David King and Dr. Bob Segrest officiating.

Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.

Memorial Contributions can be made to Concord Baptist Church, 7025 E. Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421, Avalon Hospice, 7625 Hamilton Park Drive, Suite 19, Chattanooga, TN 37421 or to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Attn: ALS Division, 2115 Chapman Road, #163, Chattanooga, TN 37421.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
