The Rev. Walter A. Linaberger Jr., 83, associate pastor of Trinity Tower United Methodist Church in Penn Hills, died of congestive heart failure Sunday in Ohio Valley Hospital, Stubenville. Mr. Linaberger was a graduate of Adrian College and the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He was ordained in 1939 and served during World War II as an Army chaplain. He was a 32nd degree Mason. He is survived by his wife, Jessie R. Lanaberger of Follansbee, W.Va.; a daughter, Mara L. Watson of Wellsburg, W.Va.; two sons, Charles A. of Frederick, Md., and James T. of Franklin Park; five grandchildren; a sister, Erma Young of Grove City; and a brother, Ralph of Butler. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Charles Trenz Funeral Home, 11110 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills, where services will be in William Penn Memorial Cemetery, Churchill.
