Albert J. Quinn, Jr., age 74 years, of Sylvania, OH, and formerly of Bala Cynwyd, PA, died September 14, 2009 in the Goerlich Center.

A graduate of Penn's Wharton School of Business, where he was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity, as well as a member of the lacrosse, track and field and wrestling teams. He was awarded the outstanding athlete award his senior year at Penn.

Mr. Quinn was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corp., awarded the rank of Captain.

He was a purchasing negotiator for Owens Corning for 35 years.

Surviving are his children, Albert J. III, Cathleen A. and Michael C. Quinn; grandchildren, Paige, Hope, Ryan and Hannah; sister, Anne Mita and brother, David Quinn.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2009 in St. Mathias Church, Philadelphia, PA, with interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association of Northwest Ohio, 2500 N. Reynolds Rd., Toledo, OH. 43615.
