Birth: 1851
Champaign County
Ohio, USA
Death: 1917
Noble County
Indiana, USA

Marriage: Henry Daniel Cress on 10 Sep 1868 in Noble Co., Indania

The lady married her bonnie lad upon his return home from the Civil War. Our hats are off to her for raising well their eight children during this harsh time in our country's history.

My father, Howard Cress, often spoke of his great Aunt Bessie, whom he adored. Grandma "Thursy" raised very loving, hard working and admirable children.

If anyone cares to share any tidbits of information about her or her family, please do not hesitate to contact me. I wish I'd known her personally.

Like the rich seeds of the sunny faced flower you sprinkled your love to your children who in turn dispersed it to their own. May God rest your soul, Grandma Thursy. We hope to meet you someday and share hugs.
