Delbert W. Loar, 83, of Ten Mile died at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday, February 2,1982, in Canonsburg Hospital after a lingering illness. He was born January 29, 1899, in Amwell Township, a son of James and Edith Zimmerman Loar. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church in Ten Mile. Mr Loar was a lifelong resident of Amwell Township, but had been a patient in Millers Rest Home in Claysville for the past year. He was the last of his immediate family. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Russell and Isaiah, and a sister, Grace Bird, are deceased.
