UNIONVILLE โ€” Olive R. (Wesley) Austin, 70, of Unionville, died Saturday at Bloomington Convalescent Center.

Born Dec. 7, 1929, in Gadston, Ala., she was the daughter of Aubry and Hattie (Baker) Wesley.

She worked for the maintenance department in the Brown County school system, and particularly at Helmsburg Elementary, for 21 years, retiring in 1990.

Survivors include her husband, Lester Austin; three daughters, Cathy Reed of Nashville, Sondy Reed and Norma Thomas, both of Indianapolis; one son, Jimmy Austin of Avon;one sister, Anna Sullivan of Bloomington; one brother, John M. Boling of Columbus, Ohio; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Kevin Austin.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home in Indianapolis. Burial will be at New Crown Cemetery.

Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
