ROCKDALE - Sam Hester, 83, of Lexington, died Wednesday, January 25, 1984 in the Rockdale Hospital.
Services will be at 2 P.M. Friday in the First Baptist Church in Lexington with the Rev. Reuel Cooper officiating.
Burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery.
Mr. Hester was a life-long resident of Lexington. He was a rancher and a member of the First Baptist Church of Lexington.
He is survived by two sons, Bruce Hester of Houston and Nick Hester of Lexington. two brothers, Clarence Hester and Henry Hester both of Lexington; two sisters Louise Stribling and Kate Wood both of Lexington; eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
