She was born October 28, 1893 at Obion, Tenn., the daughter of Charles and Sarah Hastings Lumpkins and had lived in this city for many years.
Services were held Friday morning at Sacred Heart Church with the Rev. William Stanton conducting the funeral mass. Burial was in Little Prairie Cemetery with Dean Funeral Home in charge.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Neely and Mrs. John Chilton and a son, Clell Adkins, all of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Spalding of Sheffield, Ala.; and Mrs. Vera Wilkie of Caruthersville; five grandchildren and four great-grandchild.
