DUBLIN--William Arthur Christopher, 71, a retired master sargeant who served in the Army and Air Force, died Tuesday in DeLeon.
Graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. today in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Greenwood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Christopher was born in Cincinnati. He was adopted by Dr. Christopher & his wife Hilda Brandt Christopher.
He served in the Army first and then in the Air Force from 1940 until his retirement in 1961. He was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Christopher was a member of First Baptist Church in Dublin. His wife, Anna Christopher, died in 1976. The family suggests that memorials be made to First Baptist Church in Dublin.
Survivors: Sons, Dale and David; daughter Linda; and one granddaughter, Lacey. He is also survived by numerous other relatives.
