Services to be Held Thursday For Ruth Stenzel-

Ruth Stenzel 63, of Genoa, died Monday, December 9, 1991 at Columbus Community Hospital.

Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 12, 1991 at Highland Park Evangelical Free Church in Columbus with the Rev. Dale Roth officiating. Burial will be in the Palestine Baptist Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 11, 1991, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hasch-Patrick Funeral Chapel in Genoa.

Mrs. Stenzel was born August 1, 1928 in Albion, NE, daughter of Delbert and Mary (Littell) Thomazin.

She graduated from Albion High School in 1945.

She married Willis Stenzel February 8, 1948 in Albion, NE. Following her marriage, she and her husband farmed northwest of Monroe until retiring in 1988 when they moved to Genoa. She was employed at Dale Electronics in Columbus from April, 1965 until June, 1991.

Mrs. Stenzel was a member of the West Hill Ladies Aid, O'Kay Ladies Extension Club, and Highland Park Evangelical Free Church in Columbus.

She is survived by her husband Willis of Genoa; four sons, Alvin of Denton, Texas, Melvin of Monroe, NE, Charles of Salida, Colorado, and Kurt of Lexington, Kentucky; one brother, Dan Thomazin of Calimesa, California; three sisters, Mrs. Jerold (Bernice) Renner of Little Rock, Arkansas, Mrs. Verne (Margaret) Pinney of Valley Springs, South Dakota, and Mrs. Lloyd (Sharon) Thorin of Norfolk, NE; and thirteen grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant sister.

Arrangements are being handled by Hasch-Patrick Funeral Chapel of Genoa, NE.
