In this town, on Sunday the 24th of Sept., Joseph Birge, Esq., aged 86 — an upright and respectable inhabitant, and for many years, Justice of the Peace in Milton society, where he resided until within a few years. He was remarkable for his candor, honesty, sound judgment and extensive intelligence.
