Miss Sarah Sackett
Addison – The funeral of Miss Sarah Sackett of Ithaca, who died Tuesday following a prolonged illness, was held from her late home in Ithaca Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Mr. Hastings, pastor of the Ithaca Congregational Church, officiating. Interment was made in the family plot at Ithaca.
Miss Sackett was born April 22, 1859, the daughter of Dr. Solon P. and Lovedy (Woodward) Sackett of Ithaca, where she lived practically all her life. She was the last of a family of eight children, one of whom was the late Charles W. Sackett, one of Addison's most prominent business men.
She is survived by two nieces, Miss May Sackett and Mrs. Maurice E. Miller of Addison and one grand-niece, Miss Louise S. Miller of Addison, a student at Cornell University.
Among those attending the funeral from Addison were: Mr. and Mrs. Maurice E. Miller and daughter, Louise and the Misses Hazel Space and May Sackett.
