Rosalie Riney Donahue, 67, of Hume, MO, passed away March 3, 2007, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, MO.

Rosalie was born May 26, 1939, northwest of Bible Grove, Scotland County, MO, the daughter of Lloyde and Aleatha Forrester Riney.

She was a 1957 graduate of Memphis High School, Memphis, MO. She attended Kirksville State Teachers College, and was a graduate of Gem City Business College of Quincy, IL.

Rosalie worked for Brandom and Brandom Law Firm in Gallatin, MO, Davis Firestone Tire Co. and Wyeth Company in St. Joseph, MO, and as a bookkeeper-teller for Horizon State Bank, Cameron, MO, retiring in 1999 as Branch Manager at the branch in Osborn, MO.

Rosalie was a member of the McAdow Presbyterian Church of Scotland County, MO.

Rosalie married Charles Calvin Donahue on May 14, 1967 and to this union were born two daughters and one son.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her father and mother; her husband, Calvin; a daughter, Sandra Louise (Micheal's twin), and two sisters, Janet O'Rouke and Evelyn Ann in infancy.

She is survived by a daughter, Lesa Marie and her husband, Larry Berry of Hume, MO; a son, Micheal Donahue and companion, Benita Porter of Butler, MO; two grandsons, Bobby and Braden Berry of Hume, MO; a stepdaughter, Connie Brach of Euless, TX; four step-granddaughters, three step-grandsons; and several step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Opal Blaine of Rutledge, MO, and Ruth Ann Carnes of Jefferson City, MO; two sisters-in-law, Octavia Donahue of Kansas City, MO, and Bernice McHaffie of Overland Park, KS; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held March 6, 2007 at Poland-Thompson Chapel, Cameron, MO, with Pastor Kay Zimmer officiating. There were selections of music by Karen Irwin and Larry Berry and a taped selection by Diamond Rio. Casket bearers were Dennis Blaine, Kevin Blaine, Phillip Carnes, Jerry Davis, Ted Coats, and Gene Gall. Honorary bearers were Bobby Berry, Braden Berry, Bryan Kirkpatrick, Bob King and Dick Webb.

Memorials are suggested to the Medicalodge Nursing Home, Butler, MO 64730 or to the Bible Grove Historical Preservation, c/o Sharon Bradley, Baring, MO 63531.
