Crash in Unity kills New Springfield man
Unity - The Lisbon post of the Ohio Highway Patrol is investigating a Unity Township crash that killed a 28 year old New Springfield man.
Patrick Dilworth 317 Beard Road died about 9 pm in St Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center.
The patrol said Dilworth was driving north on State Route 165 about 1 pm when an eastbound car slid through a stop sign on England Drive and struck Dilworth's pickup truck, which was forced off the road. It was raining at the time, the patrol said.
The driver of the car, of East Palestine, was taken to Salem Community Hospital where whe was reported in guarded condition this morning.
