Hubert (Hugh) Foley, 79, of Las Cruces, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006. He was born March 13, 1927 in Brookside, KY to Hugh and Amanda Foley.
Hugh was a veteran of the US Army where he served his country honorably as a Sergeant. Hugh was a retired Field Auditor from the State of Illinois. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends who knew and loved him.
Mr. Foley is survived by his children Janet (Foley) Hendricks and husband Gregory, Gail Foley, David Foley and wife Carol and Thomas Foley and wife Teresa; seven grandchildren; brother James Foley of Barbourville, KY; sisters Billie Bays of Artemus, KY and Alma Carr of Arcadia, FL. Mr. Foley was preceded in death by his loving wife Martha (Vincent) Foley.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006 at Getz Funeral Home. Funeral Services for Hugh are at 10:00 AM on Friday, Sept. 29, 2006 also at Getz Funeral Home with Rev. Loyd Cain of St. Paul's United Methodist officiating.
Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Masonic Lodge of Las Cruces doing their graveside service and also with military honors.
