1950s & 1960s. Royal photographer
Cecil Beaton claimed her as his
favourite model. She regularly
graced the covers of glossy
magazines such as VOGUE.

An International spotlight was
on her in the early 1970s when
she became the girlfriend of the
wealthy, youthful heir, Alexander
Onassis. She was 'not approved of
by Aristotle Onassis as suitable
material as a wife for his son.
The young man - who was 20 years
her junior - resisted his Father's
disapproval. Sadly, he was killed
in an airplance crash at the
Athens Airport.
