Henry Thomas Adams was the son of William A Adams and Martha Louise "Mattie" Finley. He had a brother; Daniel Aden Adams and a sister Hester Huldy Adams who married James Harvey Aynes, both of Jones, OK. He was born in Scott County Arkansas and grew up there. When he was 23 he registered for the WW I draft on June 5, 1917 in Arkansas. He was working as a "saw miller" and was single. His physical description at that time was tall, medium build with brown hair and eyes. At the age of 36 he lived in Tulsa and worked in an Oil Refinery. He was married to Thomas "Tommie" Lea Gibson-Taylor-Walsworth-Adams. Lea was about 14 years older than Henry. They did not have any children although she had several children by her marriage to John Thomas Taylor. In 1940 Henry and Lea still lived in Tulsa, one of her grandchildren was living with them at that time. Henry was a mechanic. I don't believe that Henry ever lived in Jones but was buried in the Jones IOOF Cemetery beside his parents and the rest of his family. Henry was a veteran of the Army serving during WWI in the Arkansas 114 Engineers 39 Div. as a Sgt. Alison Land
