Raymond L. Allen, age 79, died Thursday August 9, 2007. He was born October 4, 1927 in Franklin County, Illinois to Lexa Allen and Ella (Worden) Allen.

Raymond Allen married the former Donna France in Allegan, MI on April 8, 1962. He was a farmer and also was employed as a yard clerk for Links Lumber Company in Stranach, retiring in 1979. Mr. Raymond was a baseball and NASCAR fan, always enjoying watching them on television. He also loved to putter around the house and yard.

Raymond was survived by his wife Donna Allen of Ludington; 2 daughters, Clara Ann Plumle of Christopher, IL and Ella Jean Allen of Ludington; granddaughter, Mary Beth (David) Flowers of Christopher, IL and by one great granddaughter; brother, William Henry (Claudine) Allen of Portage, MI; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Willard Lee Allen; sister, Wava Adams; brothers, Paul and Herman Allen.
