He was a former employee of Tube Turns and Blue Boar Cafeteria.
Survivors are his wife, Esther Anderson; children, Joann Francis (William), Gwen Johnson (Thomas), Sharon, John, Jr., Wayne, Victor, Lamont (Nichelle), Jose (Regina) and Andre Anderson; siblings, Willie M. Johns (Walter), Fannie Anderson, Brooksy Duncan and Marcus Anderson (Denise); aunt, Levada Bonds; several sisters and brothers-in-law; 38 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at Christ Temple Christian Life Center, 723 So. 45th Street with burial in Green Meadows Cemetery. Visitation: 6-9 p.m. Friday at G.C. Williams Funeral Home.
