GLYNDON -- Gordon E. Yalch, 38, Glyndon, died Friday, Dec. 3, 1999, at his sister's home in Brainerd.

He was born March 1, 1961, in Brainerd to Roul and Joan (Gravdahl) Yalch. He was a graduate of Bertha-Hewitt High School and Bemidji State University. He was employed by The Nature Conservancy-Bluestem Tall Grass Prairie office. He was involved in prairie restoration for the past 11 years.

Survivors include his parents, Brainerd; one sister, Janice Johnson, Brainerd; and one brother, David Yalch, Golden Valley.

His grandparents, Joseph E Yalch and Ada May Yalch died earlier.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ossipee Community Church with Pastor Tim Smith officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home and for one hour before services Tuesday at the church. Memorials are preferred to The Nature Conservancy, the American Cancer Society or the Ossipee Community Church.
