Maxine is survived by her father, John T. Rogers of Sunset Extendicare, Regina [Saskatchewan]; son, Larry McHenry of Rouleau; daughters: Kim (Raymond) Clark of Rouleau and Karla Milledge of Regina; twin sister, Maurine (Stewart) Smith and sisters: Caroline (John) Peck and Barbara Atkinson, all of Rouleau... one brother, Gordon Rogers of Rouleau; uncle, Herman (Rozetta) DeRossett of Goreville, Illinois... and many nieces and nephews, all very special and very much loved.
Maxine was born in the Grey Nuns hospital, raised and educated at Rouleau, Sask. She attended Grey Nuns Hospital School of Nursing. Maxine spent her life dedicated to the betterment of care for the elderly. She was employed as an administrator at many institutions across Canada. She began her administrative career at Central Park Lodge, Regina. Her career took her to Central Park Lodges in Moose Jaw, Brandon and Kitchener; Beacon Hill Lodges of Canada in Ottawa, Vancouver and Victoria and Beckley Farm Lodge in Victoria. She returned to Saskatchewan to continue her career and be closer to her family. She was employed by the Sisters of Providence at St. Anthony's Home, Moose Jaw. After several years with St. Anthony's she ended her career at the Special Care Homes Branch, Dept. of Continuing Care, Saskatchewan Health...
