In the early 1920's, Ole and Hilda moved their family from Michigan to West Virginia, where they raised their family. After Hilda died in 1949, Ole married Anna Marie "Bish" Siefert May 1953 in Florence County, Wisconsin. Bish had first been married to Abraham J. Bussiere and then later to Ole's brother, Erick, after the death of his first wife, Augusta.
Around 1955, Ole and Bish moved back to Ontonagon County in Michigan.
Ole died in the Ontonagon Memorial Hospital and Bish outlived him by almost another 20 years.
