Dr. Christopher B. Miller, for many years a practicing physician in and near Topeka, died yesterday afternoon at the home. Born in Marshall County, Indiana, August 2, 1865, he came to Kansas with his parents when he was five years old and settled near Neosho. The family later moved to Carbondale. Doctor Miller graduated from Kansas Medical School in 1900 (note: now Washburn University). He married Miss Mary McQuiston on November 20, 1891. They celebrated their golden anniversary last year. He belonged to the Lowman Methodist Church. Survivors are his widow Mrs. Mary Miller, of the home; two sons, Clarence LeRoy Miller, Topeka, and Cyril Bertram Miller, of the Navy; one daughter, Mrs. Genevieve Thorniley, Washington, D.C.; eight grandchildren; a brother, Andrew Miller, Ottawa; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Miles, Pratt; two half sisters, Mrs. Ida Johnston and Mrs. Lizzie Clark, both of Washington State; a half brother, S.E. Wolf, Wichita. The body was taken to Wall-Diffendorfer Mortuary.
