JoAnn, of Lufkin, passed away Friday in a local nursing home.

A 1967 graduate of Grapeland High School. she moved from Grapeland to Corpus Christi before settling in Lufkin, where she had resided for sixteen years. While in Corpus Christi, she worked with missionette's and taught Sunday school at the Gateway Christian Center. She was a member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sheri and Michael Smith; grandchildren, Tyler Smith and Olivia Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Pat Kelley; sisters and brother-in-law, Jaynell Kelley, Linda Bush, Ann and Freddie Patrick and Rita Kelley; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Bessie Ellen (Bozeman) and George Washington Kelley; she was preceded in death by her brother, Dean Kelley; sisters, Wanice Zoch and Lois Brown; nephews, Kenneth Zoch, Michael Zoch and Corbett Williams; and niece, Sandra Zoch.

Funeral services in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend S.W. Woodard, Reverend Steve Hammond and Reverend Jess Slider officiating. Graveside services in the Davis Cemetery in Grapeland with Reverend Michael Bobbitt and Reverend Billy Jackson officiating.
