Carlton M. Bowdry 93, of Tucson, died Wednesday, August 19, 2009. Born on June 6, 1916 in Baldwin, Mississippi.
Preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Minnie. Survived by his son, Carl Bowdry of Tucson.
The Bowdry's moved to Tucson in 1945 where Carlton was a mail clerk for the US Post Office for 30 years. He united with Trinity Presbyterian Church and was a faithful member for 45 years.
Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. on Friday, August 28, 2009. Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. and burial will take place at South Lawn Cemetery.
