James E. Eads died at his home at Eadsville last Friday after an illness of several months.
Mr. Eads was a splendid farmer and for a number of years was a merchant and postmaster at Eadsville. He was also one of our Magistrates for a number of years and was a very influential man and one of the best citizens of our county.
Mr. Eads was born Feb. 22, 1855 and was 68 years, 6 months and 2 days old. He is survived by his widow who was a Miss Kinnett, a daughter of the late Stephen Kinnett, and one daughter, Mrs. W.B. Turner and two sons, A.E. and J.S. Eads. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was buried with Masonic honors Saturday.
