STANLEY M. HATCH, 68; LIVED IN MEDIA

Stanley M. Hatch, 68, of Media, a retired mechanic, died Monday at Riddle Memorial Hospital.Born in Washington State, he lived in Media for 43 years.

He was a mechanic for the former County Chevrolet in Media for 20 years. He later worked for Flextron Industries before his retirement in 1978.

A World War II veteran, he served in the Navy. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Media.

He enjoyed bird watching and spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles.He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jean Baxter Hatch; two daughters, Jill E. Lex and Janice L. Parker; a son, Stanley M. Jr.; seven grandchildren, and a brother, Norman Eugene Hatch. Preceded in death by his brother Vernon Howard Hatch.

The funeral service was scheduled for Friday at the Rigby, Harting & Hagan Funeral Home in Media, with interment in Media Cemetery.
