Death of James L. Riley
James L. Riley living at 102 West Main street died at his home Monday Afternoon after having been In poor health for some years of heart disease. A short funeral service was held this morning from the late residence and the body was taken to High Prairie for burial this afternoon. A funeral service was also held In the church at High Prairie.
James L. Riley was born in West Virginia seventy years, nine months and two days ago. Many years ago be came to Kansas but has lived in Chanute but a year or so. He was a farmer but retired from active work some time since.
