Flossie Lee Hood died December 2 at the Quaker Villa Nursing Home in Lubbock. She was 83.
Services were Monday at the Pleasant View Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Motsenbocker officiating. Burial was in Thomas Cemetery.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Bobby Taylor, Craig Hawkins, Billy Taylor, Gary Green, Jimmy Taylor and Grady Cowling.
Mrs. Hood was born August 16, 1905 in Chico. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include two sons, Bill Green of Andrews and Johnny Green of Forrest Falls, Calif., two daughters, Doris Hawkins and Margaret Taylor, both of Lubbock; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Her husband Grady Cordell Green preceded her in death in 1969.
