Ruby Berry May, 81, died Friday, July 11, 2003, at the Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation is 2-5 p.m. today and 11 a.m. Monday at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Jackson. Services are 12:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. May was a native of New Hebron, and a long time resident of Jackson. She worked for 27 years at Mississippi Valley Gas before retiring in 1984. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her daughter, Linda McAllister of Byram; son, Carlo Martello; sister, Grace Gober of Clinton; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church, 800 Raymond Road, Jackson, MS 39212.
Mrs. May, biggest joy in her life was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved Church and Sunday School Class.
