Accident Kills Cokeville Man
Enid Beyeler, 22, a young Cokeville man who was well known in star Valley, was killed Tuesday night in an accident in Cokeville, when he was thrown from a runaway horse and hit into a car.
Mr Beyeler, son of Mrs Melba Beyeler and the late Elmo Beyeler had been giving his wife and young daughter a ride on a sleigh behind the horse, shortly before the accident which claimed his life, according to relatives. Later the horse somehow was frightened and ran away out of control, and Enid was thrown into a car, breaking his neck.
He is survived by his wife, the former Ann Curtis, a daughter about 3 and a son two months old; his mother Mrs Melba Beyeler, Ogden; three sisters, Mrs Ronald (LaRue) Curtis, Cokeville; Mrs Eugene (La Ree) Iaraglson, armed forces in Texas, and Mrs Jerry (Connie) Packer Ogden.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Cokeville Ward LDS Chapel Saturday at 2 p.m. The body will be at the church from 12 noon until funeral time, where friends may call.

Funeral services were held in the Cokeville Ward Chapel Saturday Jan 5 for Elmo Enid Beyeler, 22 of Cokeville who was killed Jan 1 when he was thrown from a runaway horse and hit into a car.
Funeral services were under the direction of Matthews Mortuary of Montpelier Interment was in the Cokeville Cemetery.
Elmo Enid Beyeler was born Jan 6, 1941 in Afton, Wyo. to Elmo John Beyeler and Melba Anderson Bayeler.
He lived in Star Valley with his parents and sisters until he was five years old, when the family moved to Cokeville to the Ed Eneck Ranch with they had purchased. Enid loved the ranch and loved to ride horses. He worked with his father branding cattle and taking them to the range.
He received all his schooling in Cokeville. He especially liked music and played a trombone in the high school band and in a dance band.
He had a close association with his father, who passed away when he was 16 years of age.
Enid married Ann Curtis of Cokeville in 1959 and to this union two children were born, a girl LuAnn and a boy, Dwight.
He was well known in Star Valley and very well liked by all who knew him.
He is survived by his widow, Ann his two children; his mother Melba Beyeler, Ogden; three sisters Mrs Ronald (LaRue) Curtis Cokeville; Mrs Eugene (LaRee) Israelson; armed forces; and Mrs Jerry (Connie) Packer, Ogden.
