Calvary. –Mr. Math. Abler, Sr., died Wednesday, after an illness of two months. He leaves a widow and six children.

ABLER. –Mr. Mathias Abler died at the family home in Marshfield Wednesday at the age of 72 years. He was buried today, the funeral being held from the Catholic church at Mt. Calvary. Mr. Abler was one of the old settlers of Marshfield and was very widely known. He leaves a widow and several grown-up children.

Obituary. Abler. –News of the death of Mathias Abler of the Town of Marshfield, was received Thursday by Fred Konz, turnkey at the county jail. The deceased was one of the best known residents of the eastern portion of the county, having resided in Marshfield for the past fifty-three years. He was seventy-two years of age, and is survived by a wife and a large family of grown-up children. He also leaves three brothers, Peter of Empire, John of Mt. Calvary and Frank of Milwaukee, and one sister, Mrs. Phillip Odenbrett of Milwaukee. The funeral will be held Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock from the Mt. Calvary Catholic church the hearse starting from the residence at 8 o'clock. The interment will be in the cemetery adjoining the church. Mr. Abler was an old neighbor of Turnkey Fred. Konz, and was known to many Fond du Lac city people. He was an uncle of Miss Barbara Abler who was an employee of the Wagner dry goods sotre until quite recently.
