Mr. Hagood

David Alfred Hagood, 61, Alcoa, Tenn., formerly of Lawrence County, Ala., died Sunday at Alcoa after a brief illness.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Elliott Funeral Home Chapel, Moulton. Rev George Fretwell will officiate. Burial will be in Ferguson Cemetery at Moulton.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Vivian Hagood; daughters, Mrs. Betty Ann Brumley, Leighton; Mrs. Nellie Jean Guthrie, Sweetwater, Tenn.; Miss Helen Marie Hagood, Birmingham; son, David A. Hagood Jr., Madisonville, Tenn.; sisters, Mrs. Brenda Odell, Huntsville; Mrs. Minnie Guilfoil, Metarire, La.; Mrs. Cora Lee Bates, Acworth, Ga., Miss Bessie Mae Hagood, Moulton; brothers, Norris Hagood, Moulton; Bertis Hagood, Falkville, Ala.

Bearers will be Ronald Smith, Donnie Smith, Larry Counts, Cleveland Franks, J.C. Franks and Rickie Hagood.

He was a member of First Baptist Church at Waverly Tenn., and was a carpenter by trade.
