Milton Ashley
Milton Ashley of Yuma, Ariz., formerly of Walterville, died Nov 30 in Colorado.
He was born Nov 10, 1889 in Walterville and had spent most of his life in this community.
Mr Ashley was a member of the Springfield American Legion Post No. 40 and the Springfield IOOF Lodge No. 70.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; one son, Norman of Eugene; a brother, Ted of Yuma; one sister, Erdine Collins of Albany; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including a niece, Cassie Morse of Marcola.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, in Lounsburg-Musgrove Chapel with the Springfield IOOF Lodge No 70 officating. Concluding services were held in Lane Memorial Gardens.
