PARAGOULD - Arthur Dawson, 88, retired carpenter, died Sunday at Paragould Nursing Center. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Heath Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Gardens. He was a member of Seventh & Mueller Church of Christ. Dawson, the widower of Gertrude Sears Dawson, leaves two daughters, Ms. Myrtle Utley and Ms. Mary Dowdy, both of Paragould; two sons, John Henry Dawson of Paragould and Orbie Vachel Dawson of West Terre Haute, Ind.; a sister, Ms. Ida Brown of St. Louis; two brothers, Elmer Dawson of Paragould and Wilson Dawson of Hornersville, 12 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren.
