Agatha Marie Johnson, age 86, resident of Brainerd, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at her home. She was born Sept. 1, 1922, to Ignatius John and Hedwig (Quade) Ronellenfitsch in Havre, Mont. She married Charles Alfred Johnson on Aug. 26, 1948, in Brainerd, Minn. In addition to being a homemaker, Agatha was a skilled seamstress. Her family and many others were blessed by her creativity and talented hands.

Survivors include two sons, Marvin (Judith) Johnson, of Brainerd, and Richard (Kim) Johnson, of Brainerd; three daughters, Carol (Rolland) Helgeson, of Buffalo, Minn., Denise (Ronald) Bang, of Red Wing, Minn., and Debra (Loren) Thiesse, of Brainerd; 12 grandchildren, Tom (Leola), Melissa, Lisa, Brady (Melissa), Brandon, Samantha (Dan), Kristi, Anna (Shane), Danielle, Blake, Molly and Lucy; seven great-grandchildren, Caelan, McKennan, Mara, Cody, Karsan, Kennedy and James; one brother, Wilfred Ronellenfitsch, of Kenai, Alaska; and one sister, Florence (William) Jas, of San Mateo, Calif.; and many extended
family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd with Father Tony Wroblewski and Agatha's cousin, Father Alvin Quade officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd with a prayer service at 5 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services at the church.

Arrangements are with the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd.
