4/11/1918 - Page 14 - The Atlanta Constitution - The friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Catlett, Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Webb, Mrs. J. C. Garrett, Misses Bell, Etta and Marian Catlett and Mrs. N. G. Ware are invited to attend the funeral of Mr. Forest Newton Catlett, at the family residence, 655 Washington Street, today (Thursday), april 11, 1918, at 3 p.m. The interment will be private. The following names gentlemen will please act as pallbearers and meet at the chapel of H. M. Patterson & Son at 2:20 o'clock: Mr. William Blake, Mr. Joe Morris, Mr. Thurmond Chapman, Mr. Marshall Arnold, Mr. Ben Godfrey and Mr. Garrett Ware.
Note: He may have died of influenza as it was in full swing at this time. Usually when a funeral is private, it is because of something that is contagious - such as tuberculosis. Cause of death is actually unknown.
