When Friends Don't Say Goodbye
When friends don't say goodbye
The grieving process starts
(Regrets linger a little longer,
Emotions run a little stronger)
And I am left holding the memories
Oh, so close to my heart
The memories sustain me now
As I reach for the tiniest details
(Of long ago days,
Your loving ways)
Of biscuits, and brownies, secrets to share
The loyalty of friendship that never failed
God has chosen you for the journey
I rejoice in your release from pain
(Freed at last,
A memory from the past)
And I can finally say goodbye
Knowing we will say hello again

What fun it was to look at your pictures. You and your husband were a handsome couple who made five gorgeous children. I can feel that Texas panhandle atmosphere in your pictures from that era. I used to live there. Have fun forever with your love.|
