Adam Heimbigner, well known Ritzville farmer, passed away at his home in the country Sunday following a stroke several weeks previous. The funeral was held Tuesday from the Philadelphia Congregational church, the pastor Rev. Neutzmann, conducting the service. Interment was in the Ritzville cemetery.

Mr. Heimbginer was born in Hasting Nebraska on April 16, 1881. While Adam was a small lad his parent came overland to Bickleton, Washington where they remainded for several years, later moving to Ritzville. Mr.Heimbigner had made his home in this vicinity since.

He was married to Rena Hopp in 1919 (1903) and following the death of Mrs. Heimbigner he married again in 1915 (1916) to Anna Schiffner. (Note: these dates can't be right but that is what is printed.) He is surivived by his widow and six children. The latter are Elsie of Spokane, Henry of Montana, Fred of Ritzville, Laurin, Margaret and Doris at home. Ine additon he leaves sisters, Maggie Lesser, Katherine Schell and Anna Oestreich, as well as one brother H. H. of Dryden and one grandchild.
