Thomas M. Sinclair Sr.
Thomas M. Sinclair Sr., 72, of Saltsburg, passed away Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, at his home. He was born Oct. 19, 1936, in Avonmore, the son of the late Charles W. and Dorothy V. (Shirley) Sinclair. Before his retirement Tom was a miner for Canterbury Coal Mine. He is a member of the UMWA, enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time with his family and traveling. He is survived by his wife, Victoria (Sieczkowski) Sinclair; four children, Tammy A. Hutton, of Conemaugh Township, and her companion, Henry Badar, Sandra M. Feroce, of New Alexandria, and her companion, Bill Girm, Thomas M. Sinclair Jr. and his wife, Beth, of Saltsburg, and John Sinclair and wife, Mitzi, of Saltsburg; five grandchildren, Stefanie Hutton, Jessee Sinclair, Jamie Sinclair, Zach Sinclair and Ben Sinclair; three sisters, Dolores "Dorrie" Olex, of Avonmore, Phyllis Morgan, of Avonmore, and Linda Pistininzi and her husband, Joe, of Conemaugh Township; one brother, Richard Sinclair and his wife, Cathy, of Nowrytown. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, James W. "Bill" Sinclair and Donald "Butch" Sinclair. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the KELLY L. CORRIDONI FUNERAL HOME, Avonmore. A prayer service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with Father Salvatore Lamendola as celebrant. Interment will take place in Twin Valley Cemetery.
