"ELBERTON - Nicholas Oglesby, 70, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning at his home. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at his home and burial was in Elmhurst cemetery. Mr. Oglesby was a native of Elbert county and during the Harding administration was postmaster here. Prior to serving as postmaster he was a postal inspector. He is survived by his wife; a son, Clifford Oglesby; three daughters, Mrs. Clark Adams, Mrs. Steve Goss, and Miss Elizabeth Oglesby; and a granddaughter, Miss Mynell Oglesby, all of Elberton."
