Funeral services for Edgar Turner will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 11, in the Chapel of the Metcalf Funeral Home, Rev. W. R. Cunningham Officiating with interment in the Willis Cemetery.
Edgar Turner passed away suddenly of a heart attack at the Parker's Mill in Willis about 4:30 P.M. Thursday, January 9, 1958 at the age of 68.
Survivors are, his wife, Mrs. Julia Turner of Willis; 7 sons, C. M. Turner of Houston; Lester of Shreveport, La; Vernon of Orange; Sam of Houston; John Edgar, James Thomas, Carl Edward Turner all of Willis; two daughters Mrs. J. T. Kelly of Houston; Mrs. Edna Davis of Orange; two brothers, James and John Turner both of Groveton, Texas and 9 grandchildren.
