The son of William & Abigail Andrews, he married Elizabeth Spencer, daughter of Thomas & Sarah (Bearding) Spencer. Their children:
1. Samuel bpt. Nov. 14, 1686, perhaps the Samuel killed by Indians near Deerfield 1712 (Savage)
2. Thomas m (1) Mary Ensign (2) Susanna Ellis
3. John m. Lydia Ensign July 17, 1717
4. Abigail m. John Stedman
5. Elizabeth d. Nov. 23, 1772 bur Center Church Graveyard, m. William Day.

"Samuel Andrews of Hartford left will (page 100 Vol. 8)"; mentions wife, Elizabeth, sons: Nathaniel, John, Thomas & Samuel & daughters: Abigail Stedman & Elizabeth Andrews. Will dated Jan. 1, 1711-2" Harford Times, June 8, 1903

According to Wayne Andrews, their first-born child was Nathaniel Andrews who married Mary Mason, granddaughter of Major John Mason of Pequot Indian fame. Nathaniel died 1745 in Hartford and deeded his land to William Andrews & his son.
