Eva Norene Braden, 81, of Pollard, Ark., died Saturday, June 17, 2006, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Ark.
Born April 21, 1925, in Pollard, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Florence Crocker Brawner.
On May 2, 1942, she married Nolan Braden, who survives.
Survivors also include two daughters, Joan Davis, of Kennett and Jean Ann Hooten, of Pollard; one son, David Braden and wife, Vicki, of Pollard; one brother, Elmer Brawner, of Springdale, Ark.; eight grandchildren, Jeff, Cindy, Billy, Matt, Carrisa, Rick, Jennifer and Tim and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 20, at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott with Loy Culver and Charles Carrens officiating.
Burial was in the New Hope Cemetery at Pollard.
Pallbearers were Jeff Crittendon, Matt Hooten, Billy Hooten, Rick Braden, Tim Gibbs and John Brawner.
