OBIT: Samuel Hiatt Dies in Idaho: Samuel Willard (Bill) Hiatt, son of the late Elizabeth Hiatt, who died here six weeks ago died suddenly of a heart attack, Saturday, at his home at Cambridge, Ida. He was born June 3, 1885 at Willard City, Utah. Survivors are his wife, Lulu; two sons, Wallace, of Boise, and Lawrence, of Portland; three daughters, Mrs. Norma Tierney, Ukiah, Cal., Mrs. Lois Johnson, Boise, and Mrs. Freda Butler, Nyssa; seven grandchildren. There are also seven brothers, Archie, Stephen, Lyman, Merlin, of La Grande, Frank of Medford, Charles, Seattle, and Lester, Coos Bay; two sister, Mrs. Jack Griffith, La Grande, and Mrs. Ida Zumwalt, Baker, Ore. Funeral will be in Cambridge, Tuesday.

Lulu and Bill Hiatt were the parents of two sons and three daughters:
George Wallace Hiatt born 6/22/1910; died 10/1982.
Norma Glennetta Hiatt (Tierney) born 2/11/1912; died 10/10/1963.
Lawrence Cecil Hiatt born 11/20/1913; died 10/9/1998.
Lois Hiatt (Engberson-Orr) born 1915; died 1973.
Freda Joan Hiatt (Butler) born 8/16/1919; died 11/22/1997.
