ROANOKE RAPIDS - John Floyd Howard, Jr., 58, of 106 Live Oak Place, died Sunday, October 20, at his home.
He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church and was a choir member. Mr. Howard owned and operated Daniel's Barber Shop in Roanoke Rapids. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Ann F. Howard.
A memorial service will be held at 1 AM Thursday, October 24, at All Saints Episcopal Church by the Rev, Robert Alves. Burial will follow in the All Saints Episcopal Church Columbarium.
Surviving are his children, Jennifer and her husband, William Keith Gualtieri of Raleigh, John Floyd Howard III of Rocky Mount, and Andrew Robertson Starling of Roaring Gap; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John F. Howard Sr. of Roxboro; his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Daye of Roxboro; and a nephew and his wife, Mr. and Mr. Chris Day of Raleigh.
