RL Culps, 81, passed away Friday, Aug. 7, 2009.
Graveside service: 2 p.m. Monday in Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Jones Family Funeral Home.
RL was born Oct. 20, 1927, to Robert Lewis and Beulah Culps.
He was proud of his 30 years of service with the U.S. Postal Service.
RL was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, two sisters and one brother.
Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Rumell; daughter, Patsy Randolph; brothers, George Culps and wife, Dee, and Wiley Culps; sister, Billie Lester and husband, Raymond; stepdaughters, Ronnie McIlroy, Jayne Pitts and Connie Wood; stepson, Joe Morgan; granddaughters, Michelle Moore and Stacie Rudduck and husband, Scott; great-granddaughters, Cheyenne, McKenzie, Kolbie and Peyton; 10 stepgrandchildren; 17 stepgreat-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
