MASSEY-W.B. Massey, 71 years old, a Confederate veteran, died at 9:15 o'clock Saturday morning in Austin, Texas. The body was brought to San Antonio immediately by the Sloan & Hagy Undertaking Company and will be interred in the Odd Fellows cemetery Sunday. Mr. Massey was for many years a well-known building contractor in San Antonio. He is survived by his widow and a brother, M.L. Massey, of this city.

Wiley Massey was the son of John Ross Massey and Elizabeth Bailey. At this time burial locations for his parents are unknown.
On May 10, 1864 Wiley married Dalceda J Saunders in Decatur, DeKalb County, Georgia. Dalceda Saunders Massey died April 14, 1924 in Travis County, Texas.
